Thai Noodles Opens in Fitchburg
A new Asian restaurant opened in Fitchburg a couple of weeks ago. It is called Thai Noodles and occupies the location of the former LMNO Pies on Hwy PD. The first couple of tries were pretty good. The dining area is small with about 6 tables with the main traffic seeming to be carry-out and delivery. They also do catering. The food was very good, a more in-depth review will come at a later time.

I am reluctant to post, seeing that I have never actually eaten at Thai Noodles yet. However, because I have been there twice and have yet to be served, I have decided I am now eligible to post my comment.
The first time we went was for lunch. They were PACKED!! But please keep in mind, when their 6 tables are filled, they are officially “Packed”. As we waited about 10 minutes for a table, we noticed the gentleman sitting by himself at a 4 person table, had yet to be served his drink. We finally got our table, and it took another 10 minutes (no sarcasm, we watched our watches because of our 45 minute lunch break) for one of the servers to take our drink order. We apologized for taking up a table, and decided to give it to the next victim waiting in line.
When there are 4 kids (literally, should have been in school I believe) working and can’t handle 6 tables there is a problem.
I will spare you all from repeating myself, but will note we had an almost identical experience a week later when we wanted to try again for dinner.
All in all, it seems like a sad excuse for a poorly remodeled “bakery”. They emptied it out, added a counter from the clearance rack at Menards, as well as some “curtain cabinet doors” from someones used bed sheets and there you have Thai Noodles. With some flour reside on the floor from the prior dud that was there.
I have been here 4 times and the food has been awesome. Don’t post a review just because you have no patience.
I have eaten there a few times, and liked the pad thai and curry triangles. Did not like duck curry. Spring fresh rolls were interesting, not bad. They have a variety of fresh vegetables. To the comment from andrew, I would say yes there are not many tables. If you are concerned of time I would recommend calling ahead and ordering it, and it will be ready when you get there. Carry out works wonders for that. I am not sure about when it is super busy, but when I have gone time didn’t seem that long. I waited maybe.. ten minutes, and did receive my drink right away.
They make some of the best Thai food that I have ever had. I do not think that People in the Madison area really know what good Thai food is.
We’ve been there about 15-20 times, always consistently good. The Pad Thai is excellent, and the only other dish I’ve had is S8 (not even sure what it’s called), which is also very good. We always have them spice it up to “fire” level, which isn’t too much. The ginger tea is to die for.
Granted, no atmosphere, but very friendly and quick service, and only $19 for dinner for two, tip included. Can’t beat it.
