Picasso’s in McFarland has been open for a few weeks now, and is off to a great start. Joining its sister restaurant, Picasso’s of Madison, this restaurant features pizza, Italian cuisine, and other items, available for dine in, carry out or delivery in the McFarland area.
Tried the pizza was not impressed. The price was high
We had picassos deliver us dinner during one of the latest snow storms. It was great. Better than the usual pizza deliveries because we could order more than pizza.
Wow what great pizza! We stopped in the Madison location on one of our cold nights this winter and were pleasantly surprised. I love pizza and I am quite picky about how I like my pizza prepared. I like extra sauce AND I like thin, crispy crust. This can be a dilemma for pizza makers everywhere. This person/chef pulled it off w/a rave review from both of us. We had the “special” or “deluxe” that night. The pizza arrived piping hot and cooked perfectly. The sauce was quite plentiful and flavorful, the toppings were generous to say the least and the thin crispy crust was delightful.
I’d rate it up there with Paisan’s which I think is Madison’s best and I believe that I’ve had them all.

I just had to tell someone about this place. I went there for dinner on Sunday (3/2) and the food and service were not expecited nor anticipated to be so great. The waitress was so “all about us” and the food was awesome. It was fun and personable, although the waitress was all alone, she was busy answering phones she still payed attention to us and the food was hot and the portions were big. Very tasty!!!!
I would go back just to see “Sally” (hee hee I hope you read this) but Gayle was fun and my boyfriend and I both though she was amazing and the food was just as good. Try this place!!! My first time was good and I am going to go back as often as I can!!! Try the pizza, (my bf did) but i had Salmon with Shrimp and it was SO GOOD!!!!!! I wish I could email the place, but I highly doubt they have that yet. (can’t find it if they do) I am a fan!!!
the pizza is fantastic. i have eaten there and have had it delivered. the mushroom strudel is also melt in your mouth. cant wait to go again.
The food at Picasso’s is better than anything else on the east side of Madison. I eat there at least once a week and love everything about it. It’s a shame that the McFarland area doesn’t know about whata lttle treasure it has!
