My Buddies Restaurant and Sports Bar Opens on East Side

My Buddies Restaurant and Sports Bar
4325 Lien Rd
Madison, WI

My Buddies Restaurant and Sports Bar has opened on Madison’s far east side.  Located on Lien Road, the building has changed hands often in the last few years, formely housing Damon’s, Tilted Kilt, and Babes.

Featuring the typical sports bar multitude of televisions as well as a full bar and menu, we wish this restaurant more luck than the former establishments.  We’ll give it a try in the upcoming weeks.  In the meantime, have you tried it?  If so, leave a comment and tell us what you think!

The service was horrible, and the food tasted like it sat under a hot lamp all night! The couple next to us waited 15 minutes for a SALAD! Do NOT eat here!

I have had many items off the menu. The food is phenomenal. And the service makes you feel like you’ve always been a Buddie. I think this business will thrive here. Their outlook on how things are run is different then any establishment I have been at.

Went about a month ago, service was great! Staff was helpful! Had great drink specials, and food specials! We got the wings(hot) and fries and cheese curds. They were ok. Our kids ordered burgers and loved them, our one kid ordered wings also regular and loved them so much. This place is good, but was hoping for a little better food! I do really think they will make! Also I will say when we went it was during a badger game and was way kid friendly lots of kids and waitress laughed and talked with them! Best of luck. Hope to get back to try this prime rib I keep hearing about.

I have eaten there several times…the food is excellent and the atmosphere great. It is a perfect place to watch a game, but it’s way more than just a sports pub. The food is top notch…I recommend the Friday fish fry, the Buddie Club or the Tex-Mex Burger. They also have the best prime rib in town, which they have on special for Wednesday and Saturday nights. The drink menu is extensive and they make awesome margaritas, long island ice teas, and spicy bloody marys. I am 40 and appreciate the casual atmosphere and that it is very kid friendly. I have had my boys in there several times and they like the kids menu.

I had a burger. It was pretty good, and reasonably priced. Drinks weren’t too expensive either. Nothing spectacular, but what sportsbar is going to have super awesome anything? I’d go back the next time there was a game on I wanted to see.
